So here’s the story. This was a particularly fun EP to work on! Many times when I collaborate with people… By the time I get sent a file or a bounce or we finally end up going into the studio; I usually have little space for overall harmonic content because I usually come in at the end of the creative process
(easier for me lol) But… On the whole LAX EP I was sent these MASSIVE stripped-down grooves by Matt and Laz from the get-go so I had a great opportunity to layer and stack things up quite nicely… Vocals, synths, harmonies, melodies etc… There was room for everything. I was in wonderland.
